Default Rear swaybar help

I just got an LS rear swaybar/brackets/endlinks for super cheap so I'm going to throw it on until I feel like spending ~$375 on a Comptech set-up.

Anyway, does anyone have a picture out of a Helms Integra manual with the bolt size/pitch/length/etc of the hardware I'm missing? I can't find the swaybar info in either my 1995 Civic Helms manual or 1995 Integra Helms manual. Maybe I'm just blind?

Or just a picture of the hardware installed or not on your car would do.

This is for a 1992 Civic Si

Here's a pic of the swaybar stuff I HAVE:

Rear LCA/subframe:

Basically, I need the bolt/washer/nut specs for the endlink to LCA and the bolt/washer/nut specs for the swaybar bracket to subframe.

Help.

Skye -

sorry I dont have the bolt specs, but I was wondering why are you opting for the more pricey comptech swaybar setup, when the Beaks quik swap kit which comes with reinforcement, bushings, and swaybar can be had for about $175ish..

Navin-

All of the SM Civics in my area use the Comptech bar. It's 3 way adjustable. It comes with an integrated lower tie bar. The subframe brace spans the width of the subframe. It's just a really nice piece.

LS is 13mm
GSR is 14mm

Take the Mounting stuff to Loew's and get the Suspension Grade bolts,
they're gold plated, and find some nuts and locking washers.

Will a GSR endlink work with ITR LCAs?

you could try going to your local acura/honda dealer and go to the parts department and ask them what size bolts and yada yada to use, or just try different size bolts and use the one that fits the best....

hrmm - im lookn thru the Helms and there are no bolts show next to the bushing, maybe it was for the ABS bracket..??

anyways - the bolt for the endlink is 10 * 1.25 mm and it requires a washer too...

[EDIT] the bolt size might be off since you are using ITR rear LCAs..
[EDIT2] nope - they are the same!

It's cool man. I was just playing around.

We all mess up sometimes. It's just good that we have people here to correct misinformation and give us the right answers.

Like so:

8x1.25x20 for the bracket
10x1.25x45 for the endlink

Anyway, got the swaybar on today, feels pretty good.

I'll test it out on Sunday at an autocross.

for nutz and bolts, try going to your car parts place and get some grade 8 bolts. stronger than the stuff you find at hardware stores.

sorry i couldn't resist:

Not really. I would have to push it pretty hard on public streets to test it out; that's why I'm waiting until the autocross this weekend. I'm sure it will help out there.

My car was pretty neutral before the rear bar though, 380f/250r GCs, ITR shocks, stock Si front swaybar, 195/60-14 Azenis... It's just a bit softly sprung, is my only problem.

....with a Beak's kit on it. Otherwise you risk tearing out the subframe.

Yes those are pics of it on my car.

You should get control arms from a 92-95 EX Sedan w/ the LCA holes or Integra LCAs. You'd probably go through a few drill bits before you drilled through that arm.

It should clear stock exhaust pipes, it clears my GReddy SP, but it may not clear other aftermarket exhaust pipes.

Good luck.
