It is identical to the Holley battery, same manufacturer, but Holley got cut off due to some reasons unknown and the contract was given to us!!! Holley now uses a different battery. Price comparable batteries and you will see that our price is very competitive!!!

the stock alternator puts out 14 volts , so 16 is fine for the MSD and all the other stuff in the car (gauges , ECU , relays ect...)

Hey 200 plus bucks for a sealed battery, is quite a a bit, I should know I worked in batteries for a couple years, Im not gonna say the name of the company but its the #1 replacement battery brand in the US, I mean for $200 dollars you are basically getting a 12v group 34 with 800cca and its sealed and there are several batteries like this on the market and the company who makes that battery makes it for other companies as well. im not saying its a bad battery im just saying before you drop money like that in a simple battery thats no different than a sealed lead acid. just shop around. I know a guy who had purchased what he thought were lightwieght batteries and came to find out they were junk because they had no reserve cranking power (how long it can supply 12volts) and while trying to fire the car up he had to switch because the batteries went dead, Optima makes a good battery for $150 and its as good if not better than the dry cell that golden eagle is offering and its a mere 40lbs as well. me i have never used a dry cell or a sealed battery in my vehicles and I have never had 1 problem. i know a guy who has a 600hp honda and he uses the stock size group 51 on his car and its a JCI brand lead acid. Final thought; is 200 plus dollars really a deal for a battery that is really not all that great to begin with. In all reality its a 125 dollar battery with a 220 dollar sticker.
