if i swap my tranny to a si will i have to change the ecu or anything, its a vx

if i were to swap tranny to an si wouldnt i have to change my vx ecu?? t

I am almost 100% certain, that you do not have to change your ECU. If I were wrong on this, I would be very surprised. Only reason I don't give you a definite no, is because I have not done it personally.

Straight forward swap... everything bolts right up. Just a little time cosuming, i would recommend a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot/throw out bearing and resurface your flywheel if it needs it. oh and you don't need a different ecu.
