question on rims

Default question on rims

i have 17's they are very heavy , do u think i would notice a difference in accelleration if i went with lightweight wheels? im lookin at 16" rota c8s they weigh around 14lbs.

it will lower your 1/4 mi times because there is less rotating mass. but as you noticing it while driving i doubt it

Yes, the 17's affect acceleration and ET's but like the above post said, its not enough to really "feel" (unless, of course, the 17's are some really, really heavy rims). I actually just swapped my '98 GSR blades for my 17" Enkei's and I really can't tell the difference.
