I have an 88 dx crx.. Well, I also have an old prelude motor that was put into my hf. I was just wondering if any of the parts off the 88 non-vtec prelude motor would fit mine? Also was wondering if i could use the parts to make the mpfi conversion.. and I was wanting to see if maybe the header would fit also.. I did a search but you dont really hear much about the old prelude motors.... One more question, Out of the car i pull the shifter and it looks like a short shifter to me but I havent seen what the orginal one looks like and how big.. So I was wondering about how long would a short shifter out of a crx be.

what motor? is it the bastard child of the b series? if so it probably won't be worth teh headach to swap.

 

its the old sohc 2.0 liter prelude 1988 im not sure it if was the si model or not . Im not wanting to do a swap just wanted to see what parts I can xfer over to my motor... ie: the intake manifold and such
boards are slow today

 

If you are talking about the a20a3 motor it is junk and no nothing will x-over

 

Bump ! dont know about the a20 engine... The engine is inside the car .. so Im to lazy to clean it all out and get the block id... it might be the prelude si motor
