Default brake booster replacement?

has anyone ever had to replace theirs? if so will it make it brake more gradual like a newer car, or is mine just the way is supposed to be? I don't mind, but if I can make it more gradual then that'll be better to do...?

What do you mean more gradual? What's wrong with your brakes? Have you replaced the master cylinder?
