Is there any difference between the d16y8 head of an auto and manual or are they the same?

Did search already and no results.......HELP!

TIA for any replies.

 

The IACV is on the TB on auto's. (3 wire)
On the manuals it's on the Intake manifold. (2 wire)

You the man SPADE, but i was asking more about the head though. I know about the IM's. Just need to know if there is any differences in the HEAD between the auto and manual.

 

So far from what we know, there is no difference, however the auto's have been heard to have a slightly less aggesive cam, that is just rumor until someone can verify.

Haynes manual states that the cam should have a specific lift and duration only one profile so I am assuming that the cams are the same.
