I shipped a pair prelude seats to Houston,TX from Kansas City for like 30ea through UPS. Just make sure it doesn't go over there girth shipping limit or they won't accept it. Oh, I had to getto wrap the seats with a bunch of boxes to make it work. GOOD LUCK!

Take the seats to any Mailboxes Etc. and they'll pack it safely for you.

UPS & Fed Ex will ship them. You just have to find proper box. That's what Sheng over @ JDM Honda Parts recommended. Otherwise, you can always use trucking company. 2 seats will probably cost ~$100.

greyhound seems cheap. you pack it yourself and they ship to nearest greyhound of where the buyer is located. Buyer than goes to that place and picks it up. They ship really fast in my experience. Took them 1~2 days to ship a box 2ftx4ftx1ft from texas to california.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents....based on my experiences shipping things.

1. Do NOT go through Mailboxes Etc or any of these types of stores. You will pay 50-100% MORE than you would than if you went directly to FedEx or UPS. For example, last week I shipped out some floormats using my own box. MB Etc wanted $22 for FedEx and $26 for their UPS service. I left and drove a mile away to FedEx - they only charged me 8 bucks.

2. A few days ago on H-T, I saw someone recommend that if you're shipping seats, that you recline them all the way back so that they're totally flat (or as close to flat as possible) and ship them that way.

HTH

Send them through Fed Ex. Get a lot of thick bubble wrap and wrap the seats. Under the bubble wrap have thin pieces of cardboard to protect the seats from puncture. When I send seats, I never use a box on the outside. Just a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard underneath. Seats have never been damaged.

Mailboxs etc has joined with UPS and now they're called "THE UPS STORE".. haven't been to one yet, but maybe they are cheaper now.

I went through a local guy who my dad had helped out so I thought he would cut me a deal. Well he packaged them very nicely(even put a wooden frame in the box so it wouldn't collapse. But after all of that shipped it cost $120 for GSR Front seats.

i went through ups and it was $60 to ship the seats from AZ to NC. i put both of them in the same box -- took off the headrests and put them in the same box(stacked like this: L7), and the headrests in between. i used a box from uhaul, and chopped some of it off, then i found packaging **** at a local lazy-boy furniture store(dumpster diving).

I think I will ship with no box and bubble wrap idea. Maybe ship the headrests seperate.

Name change hasn't quite gone through yet, but I did notice that rates are much closer to those you get off UPS website.
