Anyone know what gives the jdm h22a type s 20hp more over the 200hp jdm h22a?

 

JDM type s has 220 PS not HP. 220 PS equates to about 216-218 HP. Anyway, type s has different: cams (higher lift), pistons (higher compression 11:1 v. 10.6:1), intake arm, valvetrain, header, and that cool type s badge (worth it's weight in horsepower.) Also, search function works well, and alleviates the redundancy in here; try that next time, okay?

It looks like to me that the type-s isn't really worth it...plus it seems like it would be hard to tell if I'm really getting a type-s or just a regular one with a red valve cover. Plus I might go FI so the ATTS would be a problem on that part.
