Yo I got a 99 EBP Si with a ACT clutch. Why cant I chirp 4th and 5th gear?

 

I can chirp 4th in my crx. But why?

yea what he said just kidding man um why would you want to chirp 4th and 5th? spinning of anytire is not good for the tire itself or traction. if anything you woudl want it to just grab but its all what you want ..

try to chirp in reverse. just gun it in 1st and throw it in reverse!!!
but you should not chirp 4th or 5th anyways.

 

the reason that you are not "chirping" the tires in 4th and 5th gear is that you don't have over 500whp! :slap: :slap:

 

i can bark 18th on my mountain bike.

which will smoke an EM1 easily.

 

because you didn't buy a FBP SI

 

put your lips together and try to scream high pitched while vibrating your lips.

you may get a good chirping sound like the crickets.

If it is Electron Blue Pearl you should be able to chirp 4th easily. I would look into some altezzas (genuine APC). They are a good weight reduction

 

Ok ok, after thinking about your topic for quite some time now I came up with your perfect solution.

The problem with you not being able to chirp 4th and 5th is because you obviously have WAY too much weight on the front of your car at those speeds. Here's what you should do.
1) Remove your AC
2) Move your Battery to the rear (make sure it'll fit in-between your 5 15in. subs)
3) Get a carbon fiber hood... they be blingin anyway's... give you mad stunna points
4) Steal a park bench (or buy one from APC) and slap it on your trunk... that **** looks TIGHT anywayz
5) Adjust the wing (bench) so that it puts as much downforce on your rear wheels as possible...
6) Remove front crome 22's and put some steelies on.

Vuola! You be spinnin! with mad crazy stunna bonus points.

 

Its all about driving the driving technique . When you shift from 3-4-5 make sure you hear the revlimiter between shifts, if you dont your not trying hard enough. If i were i would just floor it and never take ur foot off the gas, thats how you chirp mad tires Yo...

 

oh and you gotta make sure your tires are bald too.
