What is the difference between the two tires? Which has better traction, noise, and wear. Thanks!!

 

They are in a different class. The 712 obviously has better traction. Which usually means the 711 has better wear. As far as noise, last time I rode in my friend's car with 711's on it, I wasn't listening for road noise so I have nothing to compare it to.

 

Me and a friend had both tires. We came to the conclusion the 712s have an edge in dry traction and the 711s a tad better in wet.

 

Arent the 711's significantly less than the 712's also?
