my alarm is messed up
last nite my car started in the middle of the nite. not once but 3 times. then i heard the responder making noise agian so i look at it and the alarm is now disarmed...does anyone know whats going on? oh yeah i have a Viper 790xv..thanks

was it working before? How is your battery? Sometimes when your battery is low or not charged correctly it can cause electronics to get VERY screwed up..
Was it wet outside last night? Possibly shorting near some wires? (i've seen this with many horns)
I don't personally know that alarm model, but it should have a method of erasing all learned codes and repogramming your transmitter for it.

It started 3 times because DEI products are programmed to make 3 attempts to start if they fail to start. As for the reason; someone could have pressed the button, like it was mentioned earlier the batteries could be low, faulty unit, or someone in the area had a remote that operated on the same frequency (chances of that are so immeasureable remote). There is also a activation wire on the RS and that could have touched ground and started it, because it is a negative trigger wire on Vipers.
