Default RS or LS 92 Integra?

I'm pretty new to this forum, but my friend found a car asking 2k for a 92 RS non-vtec integra, or should I wait and find a LS vtec, or should I get this? Any suggestions?? Thx

Finding someone selling an LS vtec is probably going to be hard. Then if you do find one you have to worry about if it was built right. Buy the car of your choice and put in the motor of your choice in it. (buy the 92 RS and buy a jdm b16 with it)

Its gonna hard to find an ls-vtec for sale, and probly expensive too because of the work done to it. buy the RS and swap the motor. Exactly what the guy above me said.

Note sure what you mean but in 92 you had an RS, LS, GS, and GSR. The RS and LS are about the same the RS being the Base model for a g2 no sun roof or power locks/ windows.. if its a Good deal get the RS swap pit or boost it.. Or you could find a GS-r

RS is lighter and would be a little more suited for a performance project, and the b16 drops riiiight in and a DA w/ a b16 is sexual in my book

rs: dont have to deal with sunroof, or that load of bullshit called abs. integras are heavy as they are, so at least buy the lightest one. you gotta another vote for the rs.

I vote for the RS also unless you want sunroof, power window, locks... so on and so forth.

of course go with the integ, the stock one.
also, buy the stock one and do ls/vtec yourself, to make sure you do it quality.
its faster than the b16 also

umm, definitely RS if you're performance minded..but, i disagree with all these b16a advocates.. id build the b18a if i were you..it has more potential + torque, though lacks vtec..BUT, you could change that ..check out http://www.crower.com

92 RS

Well I'll proably get the JDM b16, because once I buy my car, i'll have no money left, so i'll have to save up for my engine from nothing, so i'll need the cheapest but best engine, ya know? I'm thinkin about getting the jdm b16a, but later on I wanna get a turbo, is that a good setup for later on? If not, what is...sorry for all these questions, i'm tryin to learn as much as i can, i spend like 3 hours each day up at barnes and noble reading car magazines tryin to learn stuff..but in advance, thanks for all the help!

B18A (92 RS) <odb-1>
HP 140 hp @ 6300 rpm
Torque 126 lbs-ft @ 5000 rpm
Redline 6500 rpm

B16A (SiR-1) <non-odb>
160 ps @ 7600
111 lb-ft @ 7000
Redline 8000 rpm

Do you want a high revving b16, or a more torquey, civilized and in my opinion, practical engine?

Which ever one is best for racing, and everyday type of driving. so most likely a more practical engine
