Default Problems!! Water leaking from passenger dash..

So, this is the problem. There were some odd popping and clicking sounds coming from the car.. I thought it was a speaker so I wasn't paying much attention. Later, when I tried to find out where the noise was coming from I checked all speakers and nothing.. so I turned the cd player off, and the noise continued. Not good.

I find the sound is coming from the dash somewhere, kind of in the middle. Then I look at the passenger side floor, and there's some water on the floor mat. So I look under, and there's water leaking out of somewhere. The white fan "thing" leaks pretty hot water, and the black thing next to it is sweating really cold water. THe popping sounds worry me because they happen even when the car is off. I don't know if freon is spraying all over or what but I don't want to drive it because that makes it a lot worse..

Help?!

Also, the AC is blowing REALLY cold air. And when I change the slider from cold air to hot air there is a quick burst of white-ish air that comes from the vents.. and when I turn the fan up the popping/cracking gets worse..

You have a possible refrigierant leak, THAT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU, YOU COULD BE CAUSING IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO YOUR LUNGS.

Also check the condensation drain tube. You must remove the glovebox.

Get professional help, now, that stuff is real bad to breathe.

The leak isn't really what's bothering me.. even though it's not a good thing. But what's up with the popping and clicking sounds?? Even after the car is off..

I don't think it's bad to breathe in the air in the car because if there was a refrigerant leak then it wouldn't blow cold air... and the air it's blowing is reeeally cold.

I'm not going to drive it until Thursday when I can take it to Acura.. ANY ideas what the noises are?

Could it be your heater core.

I've had two heater cores go in two cars I've owned. It was a lot like this.
Do your windows fog at all? If they do, and you wipe your finger against one, does the residue seem oily between your fingers if you rub them together?
Heater cores are a nasty thing to take care of, usually being against the firewall...worse yet, if you don't do it quickly, you could find yourself ankle-deep in hot coolant while driving if one lets go. I'd get it checked out ASAP.
