Default Filling in the spots

This is the second time I've had my emblems stolen so I am thinking about having them off permanently. Do most of you leave the holes there or fill it with something else. ALso, how do i get all that sticky stuff left from the stolen emblem

Thanks in advance.

Use goo gone for the sticky stuff.

I'd be careful though, goo-gone is a light abrasive and can affect the clear coat of paints. On glass or rubber etc. it would be fine.

Use a little I suppose.

I used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and rubbed it off with my bare fingers. Consequently, I developed blisters on my fingers from the hot adhesive.

You usually need to wash the car after using goo gone and similar bug/tar type removers, it tends to take the wax (if there is any on there) right off. Don't know how it affects the clear coat in general though...
