I just helped a friend of mine install indiglo guages in his 99 accord sedan. It's automatic with a 4 cylinder 2.2L vtec. We installed the guages and everything looked fine. Well now the car won't shift from park. The check engine light is on and the brake lamp is on. He has to go to court in like 5 hours and we have to fix it. I'm begging anyone and everyone to help me on this.

 

Did you check the fuses? Check the wiring you guys did? Maybe yuo have a bad connection on the indiglo wires and the wires are touching metal...

 

Checked everything. We even disconnected the indiglos and it still won't shift. All fuses are where they should be. I need to know if there's anything else I can do. Anyone?

 

So you guys put everything back to stock and all that stuff is still happening? If not then try putting it back to stock and check the wires that u spliced... If all else fails... reset the ECU... and hope for the best...

 

The fuse in interior lighting(gauge cluster) is located the the passenger side door jam
