from what i've read it's a complicated swap that involves relocating the mounting locations and cutting the frame in order to fit in certain places
unless your experienced with custom fabricating and good with motor swaps you might want to take it to a shop or keep searcing a learn as much as possible before you jump into the swap

I just put an H22 in a 92 Hatch. I had to do plenty of cutting to make things work like the shift cables and the tranny mount. An EF body would take a lot more cutting and pounding, and a lot of time.

Well, I am almost through with this swap, it is very time consuming and very very expensive... Call up place racing, they are the only ones (it seems) that has a full line of products that are needed to put the "Beast" into the CRX. It will cost close to 6,000 to put the engine in and parts and labor, then you gotta get the full suspension to handle it. Dont do this swap if you are not very serious about the 1320, I did it cuz I had a littte bit of money, and I had a 91 CRX that was asking for some POWER!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck in your desisions. Let me know if you have questions.

alot of $$$ and time.

not too many shops will do this. it will involve some moding to the firewall and alot of hammer pounding. hit up KSR he is running one in his EF

It only requires cutting of two points,

1) The passenger side fram rail..about 4 inch cut. (make room for tranny)

2) The shifter console inlet. To better use the shifter cables, and linkage.

Other than that, you have to relocate the battery to the rear, and remove the whole front crossmember, and a arms, as well as weld in the motor mount kit I got from Place Racing. The CRX/Beast should be up and running any day now, and then I will let you know how she runs. All of the pain and waiting and $... was worth it!
