Default exhaust manifolds

is there any benefit of having a turbo with a wastegate already mounted on it or are those all crap?
thanks

just means it's internally wastegated...better for staying under 8 lbs. or so but external i recommend tial

If you are speaking of an external wastegate mounted onto the turbine housing, it offers no real advantage over the external wastegate on the exhaust manifold. The real benefit I can see is that if you are designing a manifold, you can keep the flow laminar at the collector as well as having a better placement of the manifold for crammped spaces.
