how do i get a bolt out from behind the stock rear mount?

Default how do i get a bolt out from behind the stock rear mount?

i can't figure out how to get the bolt that is on the pass side of the car but holds the rear mount to the cross member. How do get this f***er out!!?!?!?

you have to drop the crossmember to get that one. Its not that bad to do

No you don't, its tough but you can do it with the cross member in. Take the front bolt out first, then you are able to swing the mount left and right, this will make more room to get a wrench in there. But becarefull when putting a new one back in, there are four holes ( in a square pattern ) lined up . The mount will mount on both set of holes so don't confuse them. The holes are like this

. . Don't forget what set of holes you took the mount off.

kool, thanx. Luckily the hasport mounts come w/ specific directions as to which holes have to be used.

Use a snap on swivel socket and an extension. easy. ive replaced them with the engine still in the car.

you have to have the right combination of swivels and extensions...and even then its a bit of a pain...but it can be done. just need patience.

3 ways,
#1 drop x member (dont)
#2 swivel socket mixture (pain in the *** if you dont have it)
#3 Loosen the first bolt. then tap it with a hammer to the left. Next, get a box wrench with a kink, (most standard wrenches are like this) stick it through the front, catch the bolt, and loosen. Its easy. (I did it this way)
