man, that header scares me! how does one turbo an i-vtec motor when that twisted thing is stuffed in the firewall?

I think that dyno chart is from a Type-S it only read's like 162 WHP that seems low for a motor with 220 hp .

If you read the sides of the chart (the parts in roman text) you can see that it is measuring the power output in kW and nm, not hp and ft lbs.

160 kW = 217.6 HP. It looks like you will drop below VTEC when you shift from the 1st to 2nd gear (chart 2).
