Default '92 Teg Scam

This isn't about anyone on this forum (as far as I know). I recently purchased a '92 GS-R on Ebay from a guy with the user name "j webb". The car was described as being in basically new condition, although he didn't use those exact words . I won the auction, paid a non-refundable 10% deposit, and made the 7 hour drive to pick the car up. What I found was a very average car that had had a poor make-over job. I didn't buy the car and this guy isn't refunding my deposit, even though he mis-represented the car. I'm posting this here because there were two other bidders that may now be contacted by him to buy the car, and I'd like to prevent anyone else from making the mistake I did.

If you paid by credit card, dispute the charge (even if you paid by paypal). Dont forget to contact ebay and let them know. Good luck man...

You are about to learn the hardway that Ebay doesn't look out for their users at all.
