'94 gsr, itr internals, jdm itr tranny, act heavy clutch w/lightened flywheel, tein HA suspension, skunk2 valvetrain... those are most of the main mods, just for reference... but anyway, when i'm just daily driving, there's a thumping noise, sounding like i'm running over something every now and then. i'm not sure what it is, but it's becoming a little more frequent... any ideas as to what it could be?

 

Well, it sounds like something to do with your suspension. You'll need to isolate it to a certain area by listening to what part of the car it's coming from.

might be you runnin gover the lil lane deviders LOL.. and prolly have your suspension on hard

 

well it's coming from the front right, and when i said it sounds like i'm running over something, i know i'm not, and i dont think its from the suspension... i can somewhat feel the vibration from it in the pedals, and i was also told it may be the lsd or something popping in the tranny??

lke2drvgsr: Does the sound only happen when you hit a bump or does it happen regardless of bumps? Jack up your car and move the tire left and right as well as up and down. Is there any play? Also, have you pulled off your wheel and checked everything to make sure all the suspension and steering rack is tight?
