Rust On body

Stop rust by cutting it out. Stop rust from coming back, get your car treated at a place like Ziebert or Krown and they can treat your car. And make sure that you do it every year. You can always sand or cut it all out and fill it in with Bondo but usually that is only a fix for a little while. Cutting out the whole rust and then some and using another piece of metal and weld that in place and sanding it smooth and painting it is the way to go to make sure that it wont come back again. Usually when rust starts it will come back over time. Not from the actual spot, but from the welds when they (bodyshop) weld the new piece in. The welds from the opposite side of the fix will corrode over time and penetrate through your fixed section.
Guess that's life, but it is worth it if you love your car.
