obd0-obd1 injector wireing help PLEASE!!!
Is there a resistor box at all on an obd1 car?
The directions i got with my conversion harness said that i didnt need one but i need to know what to do with the wires going out of the injector's. I know the red/black wires (obd0 car)(yellow/black on obd1 car) go to the 7wire capped plug but what about the other wires comming from the injector's? do they just go like they already do stock (89 civic)
i guess my question is what wires are needed going into that 7wire capped plug? and what is done with the other injector wires for each wire?
sorry if thats confusing

no and you can use a multimeter to figure out which wires are for the injectors on the obd 1 side by turning on the car and check the wires inside the clips
in am obd1 conversion you can leave the obd0 injecotr's and resistor box?
i already switched injector plugs so i still need the help
what wires go into the 7wire capped plug thinngy and where does the rest of the wireing go??
thanks

I think there is a way to just modify the resistor box and use OBD1 injectors.
There was a thread many months ago that explained this realy well.

Yes for some reason people think you have to change the injectors to obd 1 as well but that's not true. The wires that go to that obd 1 plug are all hots off the main relay. You have the same wire that goes to your resistor box in your car. You need to wire that hot up to the 4 wires that go to your injectors. I don't have my documentation here so I can't give you specifics right now.
well it dosnt really matter im useing the obd1 injector's all i want to know is what wires need to go into that 8 wire capped plug and where the other wires for each injector go when useing the obd0-obd1 ecu conversion harness
thanks
thanks
