Default Cup holder holes ?

Well I was out and about driving with my brother, i look over and he had pulled the sticker thing thats at the back of the cup holder thing, ya know the six square holes thiers. Well first of all what the hell is that and do i just go to honda and replace that sticker i dont really want stuff falling under my center console...im a clean freak when it comes to my car

Ok this is really bugging me I've been trying to think of what the purpose of those wholes could be and I just don't see it. Lol sorry bout your pen dude...looks like you gotta take the center console either off or loose to get that back. Come on guys someones gotta know what those are for and where to get that sticker
