well...i've had them for 8 months, and they have been awesome. Great reduction in body roll, and the ride is pretty smooth with the stock struts. I dropped it about 2.25" in front and 1.5" in back. None of the struts have blown yet, and i have only mild camber issues in the front. The springs have NOT started to sag yet, i actually think sometimes my car is higher than the day before
So...for those who can't afford the good ****...i'm giving my vote to arospeed...they havent let me down yet

i was running ground control coilovers with Kyb AGX adjustable shocks on my old SI and i loved em. You are looking at 300 for GC coilovers and 360 for shocks. I got the coilovers direct from ground control and the shocks from the tire rack. I would say if you are going to do it do it right. No sense in half assing it b/c it will just cause problems in the long run.

what you need to be worried about is spring rates. call obx and ask for spring rates. if they cant even give u that info then yes they suck and skip them.

I would vote for Tanabe on an exhaust, but not springs.
In fact, I hate most springs and coilover sleeves. Save your money and buy a full system with parts that were meant to go together. (Tein, JIC, Zeal, Buddy Club, A'pexi, etc.)

yeah they were stock... and driving on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News VA is bad for any car.
I was just making a mention of that simply because I think any suspension part that is not fully adjustable is retarded.

lowering springs on stock shocks will blow it reguardless of brand.

Not really. If you have adjustable shocks, how do you know if your settings are right? More adjustment just means more room for mistakes IMO.
Half of the people with Teins on the board have no clue on how to properly set-up their sus.

I agree... springs were on the car when I got it, and I never got a chance to change them.

This is true... When you have fully adjustable suspension, it is very important to test on different road conditions to get it right. As you said though most people don't know how, or are too lazy to set them up correctly.
I guess if all you are looking for is a dump then springs are fine.

how about you do some research and dont just ask arbitrary questions about random brands.
