Default stock gsr header used to add more hp

I hered by grinding and polishing the inside of the stock gsr header can add a few ponies comparable to some other bolt on headers. can anyone confirm or deny what i heared.?

Yes because the inside of the stock header isn't as smooth as some aftermarket headers. So I'd think with it cleaned up the airflow would be a bit smoother, thus increasing hp, but not a whole lot. I think SCC did a header test and one of the headers was a p&p stock header.

If you are on a super tight budget it would work, otherwise it probably isn't worth your time.
