My friend has a 2001 honda Accord and put a after market pullie but wants to take it off now does any on have any hints on how to do this is it a regular thread or reverse. Thanx for your help guys Its on the altornator.

 

It's reverse thread, and most often seized with red loctite. Good luck!

 

My pullie wasn't reverse thread. Did they change em on the 6th Gen Accords?

I don't know.. ??my 95 was reverse thread.. or was it the ps?? Got me wondering..
Sorry I take it back then, I thought that sort of thing was standard stuff. I must admit my alt was a rebuilt though..

 

So what have we decided and what tools because now i would rather leave the pullie on but there is a clicking. I think i either tightened it too much or i bent one of the fan blades inside.
