i was using the term cheapass sarcastically, although i still havent registered. I really would like to register, i just dont have a credit card/paypal so it makes transactions a little harder for me. I'm not trying to make excuses or anything, i just really need to figure out the wiring, otherwise im stuck =/

Machine Head had some helpful info, but he talks about his detailed writeup on the install and posts the url (in my first post of this thread). Anyways...i just wanted to see that writeup, I read the writeup on NTPOG which was cool, but it is for a 5th gen, and the wire colors are different. Machine head also talked about a wiring diagram, maybe it is in that thread?

 

Basically i just need to know what to do with the blue (ground) wire, does it go to the car or my blaster 2 coil?

 

The blue wire is for your two step rev limiter, which isn't needed for startup.

Anyways, looks like i will be hooking this bad boy up pretty soon. Its kind of a bitch to mount it somewhere now since my AEM CAI is on backorder for another 2 weeks=/ Im using the stock intake, a k & n filter and some dryer hose to make something.....really ghetto.

I will post with my thoughts on the ignition after i finish tonight.

You're welcome. Here's another place to put the Dig 6. It will mess with your radio though. However, it won't affect CDs, tapes, MP3s, etc.
