Looking for clarification before I call Martel Bros in the AM.

I searched for K&N air filter replacements and folks said a E-2427 would drop right in to my ITR.

What Martel Brothers sent me has no elbow, and no closed end (like the stock filter). The box says E-2427, and the number on the side of the filter is: A054B8.

Looks to me like the box was previously opened (possibly a return mixed up?)

 

if its not same size or looks same size as factory filter and not a direct bolt on, they you must have the wrong filter, send it back and get comptech filter..
