i got a stock acura cd player/radio. my bro said that it has trouble playing cd's. i took the top cover off so i can see the inside(some of the inside). I was wondering if any1 knows how to clean it? also there is no code for it. under the top cover i took off there is 2 5-digit numbers. the one on the left has all numbers, theh one on the right starts w/ a letter. could the 5-digit number on the left be the CODE??

 

Canned air can be found at your local electronics store and works wonders for getting rid of residual dust in cd players. As for the code, it is probably NOT written on the CD player. Otherwise ... what's the point? It SHOULD be 5 digits (the one to my '94 teg's radio was). The way to get the code is to get the serial # off the radio and head to your local dealership. With the s/n to the radio they should be able to get the code from thier database.
