Default I got my code for the Check Engine Light.... need help

I ran the code 54 today for the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF). I have a 98 Integra w/ B18B motor. Is it ok to run it like this until i can get it fixed or no? When i do check it out and it then needs to be replaced how much would it be? Hopefully that won't be the case but my luck it will. Let me know

Also will this hurt engine performance????

hmm, that's odd.
Your car is a 98 Integra which IS obd2 equipped and you should, by default, have the CKF sensor on your stock engine. I have a feeling you're leaving out some info.

- have you peformed an engine swap or some kind of block change lately? and if so, what year is the motor you put into your 98 teg ?

if not, and you have your original engine, have you checked the CKF sensor to see if it somehow came loose or unplugged?
btw, this sensor is located on your oil pump as seen on this OBD2 sohc engine:

Thanks Katman for the picture... i have not done a motor or head swap of any kind. It is all original with the car. I have not check it out yet to see if it came unplugged. I have the Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pullies... i doubt it but do you think they made any difference? Im gonna look everything over on monday or tuesday so ill let everyone know how i made out

i cant find it....On the passenger side of your car, under the dash beneath the glove box, you will find a green cover above the kickpanel that houses a blue connector that has two wires. can someone post a pic of it!!http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/06.php
