ive been hearing that replacing the stock intake cam, in a gsr, with a type-r intake cam is a relativly good setup. i was wondering if this was a good setup with a turbo.

i was also wondering why only the intake cam is replaced and not the exhaust cam.

IF you plan on going turbo, stick with the stock gsr cams

 

You get more hp by upgrading the intake cam compared to the exhaust cam. Basically the hp gained from the exhaust cam doesnt justify the price for most people. But if you want the most hp and want to do it right you might as well get both cams.

how much hp gain will you see from upgrading the intake cam or both cams?
