A thread to clear up a recent negative post about Speedstar in Toronto
The thread in question, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=489191 I talked about not going to Speedstar because of the price of the spoon lip. I met Albert at the Canadian Autotech show where he had a full contingency of cars equipped with spoon parts. We talked about what happened, and I realized that it was a misunderstanding.
Someone recently got a final drive installed there, and there was a post about speedstar not doing the work themselves. I would like to clear this up as well, Albert explained to me that Speedstar is the retail arm of a larger business. There is a fully equipped mechanic shop which is owned by the same person, and the work is sent there. It is just another part of the same business.
A few guys also bashed Albert because of his English, but since English is his second language, he might not be as proficient as some of us, so bear with him.

Wayne-
Thanks for clearing everything up for our fellow HT members. I have nothing but praise for Albert and the guys at SpeedStar. Someone jacked my Mugen rad cap at the show, and they were right there to hook me up with a new Spoon one...even delivered to my booth for me.
The shop arm of SpeedStar, headed by Albert's partner is also top-notch. They've taken great care in building my car. 200+ whp on stock cams is nothing to sneeze at.
Anyway, I'll continue to take my car there because they know it inside and out. And hopefully, you'll give them the chance to help you guys out too.
