Default Not a Good Day

Going to a friends house and i was low on gas... so i was driving the gas station and the car started to run out of gas... about 100 yards before the gas station... started to pull in and i started making this very load noise from the engine.. loud.. cut the car off real quick.. looked under the hood and nothing looks wrong... so i put gas in it and starts right up sound just fine... drove to the friends house... still just fine... drove Chris (teamnextgen) around the block to see if it made that noise again... nothing... so thinking was everything was cool i went on with my business. getting ready to leave and started the car again... made that same loud noise... so this time... i go deep into the motor looking for something wrong.. start with the sparkplugs.. its about 11:30 no light.... pull the plugs out all was fine but this one.... from number 4... plug looks Focked up... so i know some object is in the motor and has mess this plug up... any idea on what it could be and maybe how bad it damaged the motor.. i know it could be a valve or something... i'm going to check tomm and see in the light... but maybe someone could help me on where to start and what i should do...
thanks
Derek

that plug doesn't look good. Had you done anything to the motor before this happened? You better check tdc .

Detonation can bend the electrodes like that. When you ran out of gas it may have gotten lean and detonated some. Id replace your plugs. If you want you can put the cylinder at bdc so you can see the bottom of the cylinder better and try and look if you can see anything in there but I doubt there is.
