ok i may be a bit partial but id say b16, there is a almost unlimited supply or parts available, the zc there isnt as many, 30 more hp stock(although the PRICE difference of the motors makes up for it) that brings me to another point, the b16 does cost more so its really up to you with how much your looking to spend.

o btw did you pick up a crx yet or is this just for refrence??? i'll talk to you some more next time you get on.

the b16 would be better, but if money is titght, the zc would be better than what you have.

Well since your not going turbo I'd stick with the b16. The ZC is much cheaper but either you spend 2k for a b16 or you spend 2k with internals on a zc to get the same result.

that is kinda what i thought. I really want to have vtec. my GSR has made me a firm believer in VTEC. I love the sound of it kicking in. By the way 4inspeed, i still haven't picked up a CRX yet (this is just a reference)and i am still looking, so let me know about yours next time we talk.

This is gonna sound silly comin from me, but if your going all motor a B16 is your best bet, more HP, higher redline, and VTEC. Slap I,H, & E on that puppy and maybe a 50-75 shot and you'll be runnin high 13's no problem. I love my ZC , but in your situation, B16 is the best bet.

How about a b20? Torque is what helps in drag racing not VTEC. I think the b16a is better due to parts availability. If money is a lil tight im sure a ZC would be good way to go. IMO I would think the ZC is best bang for buck in stock form.

I would say it would mainly come down to what you want in a CRX. I've raced some CRX's w/b16's in them and beat them w/my ZC in, so like I said it's what you mainly want. I'll be interested in trading you just IM me, and we can talk about it I'm located in Dallas as well.
