Default ITR VS. GS-T automatic.

One of the local rednecks girlfriends just got a newer model GS-T Eclipse. I figured they think it is bad because it has probably beaten some of their Z71 pickups. They want to run me thinking they have found something that will beat me. I don't know why since I have beaten my friends GSX. I guess it is because it looks newer. They are acting so cocky as usual, and I would love to burn'em. I know I can beat it, but I want to spot them a couple of car lengths if I do race just to tick them off. It is an auto. From my experience DSM auto's suck big time. How many car lengths could I give him on a 1/2mi stretch. 1 maybe 2. Thanks.

Give him 27 car lengths, and then turn around and go home

why would you race a 1/2 mile....what track is a half mile? I know what track it is....none.....what are you doin a high speed run...come on...some GS-T's are faster than others....I know of 2 of them around here..both are 5 speeds...one runs a 14.8 with BOV, and the other runs 15.1 with intake and exhuast....also autos can be better in some situations so don't underestimate it....good luck and try racin on a 1/4 mile track

ActiveAero - did you ever get that F&F flames-out-your-exhaust thing working?

I didn't say it was a track. We race on the local power plant's industrial road down by the river. Dead straight road for about 7/10 of a mile. No traffic crossings since it is fenced off on both sides with about 100ft of grass between the road and fence. Basically the perfect racing spot.

Not flamin, but dont get cocky. You could make a mistake, and they could beat you. I know it is unlikey....but just race them fair and square, forget that cockiness. Oh yeah, and on a track if possible
