Broke into the 13's today at the track.. I think I can do better considering my 60fts sucked ( I had MT slicks on) I figure I should be hitting 1.8 60fts w these slicks, but I guess I have to get used to them and break em in a little. On the bright side I feel like my engine is stronger than last year. I think its finally broken in.

Great to see you in the 13's! You DEFINATELY have MUCH room for improvement. You should be able to get a 1.9 pretty easily out of those slicks. Great job man.

lol...thats funny? I don't know why it says that actually... I'm not bullshitting.. I was 12 yrs old in 92? I got back from the track 3 hrs ago...lol anyways u can beleive whatever u want I don't really give a ****...

 

I seemed to launch good but when I hit around 7000 rpm the slicks broke loose again? Maybe I didn't heat them good enough.... I wish I had lsd in the car

 

Run with some street tires one time, I'd be interested in your trap speed.

 

I ran last year on winter tires "poor mans slick" (soft sidewalls) and hit 100.7mph once but again this is when the motor was built.. I think it runs stronger this year cuz its broken in...

Drive to commerce if you want to run a real track boosted... Its not too much farther unless you got one local...

how can you call BS?? like that time is so hard to get? look at his mods, dude get over it...good job SRV..ive never run on slicks but i pull 2.1s on street tires..our car seem pretty even, although my set up is cai/h/e/vafc/cam gears/ecu....my best is 13.7 @ 102, im wondering what i can gain by adding some higher comp pistons, and headworks, cams ect..you almost got my time..keep practicing..you should be able to rip off some good 2.0s at the least on those licks..peace

No not to fast for me at at all.. Hmm Let me see my mods.. I pretty much have same setup and I am spraying and I cant hit that.. Just curious on the date and time stamp..

 

i actually have less mods, and nothing done internally, also riding on a stock clutch and flywheel ect...and mine runs 13.7 @ 102..if your doing all that and squeezing your set up is in need of some bad tunning..or driving? just my thoughts

Every time you turn on the computer do you type that and copy it so you can use it in every one of your posts? I hardly ever see you give some tips for improvement or anything. You always change the post to "I ran this with only xxxxx, wonder what I could run if I added xxxxx."

actually dick i help quite a few people, I IM people all the time helping them with laucnhing techniques, parts, work..ect, ive also helped people with swpas, regular maintaniance...dont take out your agrravation because your car is still hesistating...your the one always looking for some hidden mods because my car runs the times it does, get over it dude, i was compariong my times to his, because with HIS mods he should be faster than me...but whatever...OH yeah IVE GOT ES MOUNTS..i forgot to list that as a power mod too..w/e

 

I'm not hatin. Do you see anyone else that runs good times putting it in every post they make?
