knocking noise on rear right side, help please
when i hit a bump it sounds like something is knocking against the car on the right rear side..a shop said i may have a weak spring...could that be hitting the strut or causing something to make that noise? what else could it be, it doesnt look like anything is bent or loose. thanks guys
i your car lowered? thats what mine sounbds like when i first dropped it without shocks or strusts, when i go over a bump it would make a knocking type noise, the shock was blown. hope that helps.

i got the same problem except it's in the front.....i've done axles/bearings etc...nothing seems to help so i'm guessing it's a blown shock or something messed with the suspension.....only does it when it's wet out though....strangest thing.....but the car handles/rides/sits just fine......lemme know what you find out
Yes the car is lowered....i got a new strut for it but it still made the sound. I just bought a new pair of springs so when I put them in we'll see. The car didnt sit right on mine. The right side was higher then the rest. ill keep you posted. thanks guys
hmm can you give me more info on why it would be balljoint(s) and if that could be making a knocking sound. .anything will help. thanks
How about loose hangars for your exhaust? That's over on the right-rear. Get down there & take a look. Something hitting usually makes marks...
