new short block is around 1200-1500 bucks, so that's pretty cool that they're doing that for you, it'll come back to bite them in the ***, stupid honda dealerships

why are you gonna get a block when all you have to do is rebuild the engine?

A shortblock for 1200-1500!??! Is that gold dipped or something?

You can get a longblock with ECU for that price!

he meant from the dealer.
They're about that expensive. Try ordering a brand new tranny from the dealer and see what you get. LOL

A hole in the top of the piston could be anything. Although, I don't know the whole background. Were you spraying? Or just driving around and all of the sudden it just went kaput?

If it just crapped out, that's really wierd.
