Wiring a obd1 distributor onto my std obd0 harness...how to?
Trying to finish wiring up the car for OBD-1, but when i attach the STD harness onto the obd1 b18b, the distributor plugs arent even close. The two pin plugs, i just spliced to together, but the main distributor plug has me confused.
The obd1 has 7 pins
The obd 0 has 5 pins
Where do i get the extra two wires for the ls distributor from?
Thanks!

Oh boy!
so you haven't converted to MPFI?
the two wires (blue/yellow and blue/green) that you don't have are for an extra sensor the STD or DX does not have.
You must conver to MPFI before you can convert to OBD1
you have a lot of reading to do.

Well, we are conerting to MPFI as we go ( kind of...) i didnt realise that MPFI cars had an extra sensor inside the distributor that DPFI cars didnt.
Is it the CYP sensor?
Thanks for the response.

I don't remember what sensor it is for.
I know the wires go to:
blue/green to C1
blue yellow to C2
The at the ECU:
Cut orange and white wires off at C1 and C2 and connect them to wires added at B10 and B12. Orange-B10. White-B12. Leave enough wire for next step.
· Run wires from C1 and C2 (direct ECU connection) to the distributor

To make the swap easier you can use the 1g B16a dist. You will still have to do the mpfi swap but the dist should bolt right up. Im pretty sure of this so someone correct me if im wrong. Otherwise here is a good site for the wiring. http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/4gdxtozc.html
