Has anyone used this size? I am so over trying to secure some decent light 16" rims (my volks finally came and after 4 months they were the wrong offset!!!) that I am thinking of just staying stock. 215/50 15 is nearly identical OD to stock, but will it fit?

 

I don't know about 15's, but I'm using 215/40R16s without any problems.

 

I think it would fit, but may not be better. To run them on a 15 inch rim, I'd recommend a wider rim than the stock 6 inches. Has anyone out there tried the SSR competitions in 15x7.5?

 

stock rims , should go to 205/50/15 ...thats what i have and it shaved off a tenth off my 60' gettin me in lower 15's

 

There are two different questions here: (1) do these size tires fit on the stock rims, and (2) do these size tires rub the fender wells. I'd be interested in hearing the answer to both questions.

 

I think even bigger question is what tires are out there in 215/50/ZR15. I didn't see many when I ran a search..
