why is my si/mpfi conversion dx boggy only sometimes?
when you nail the throttle sometimes my car puke's out bad. it's wierd because it only happen sometimes. does anybody know what it could be? maybe a fuel pump or bad filter?
maybe because when you do the MPFI, it runs a little richer than normal...im still trying to get my MPFI to work but i can't get any spark....how did you wire your dizzy?? can you show me step by step cuz i tried following other website directions but it aint working right....holla agp

For my swap i got the si manifold with EVERY THING , the si wiring harness and dizzy..

everything SI except i used the DX harness because they said it was easier...i just took the plugs off of the Si harness for the injectors and dizzy

i swapped the whole si engine, and then did the mpfi swap. the dizzy wires were really faded so it took me a few minutes to figure them out. if you have the 2 white wires on the dizzy mixed up you won't have any spark.

i had to get info from a few different pages because a few of them were wrong. all the dizzy wires should match and the blue/green goes to ecu c 1 and the blue/yellow goes to c 2. are you sure you switched the right wires on the ecu?

Well if it never happened before the modification, it's likely something wrong with the changes you made. Did you change the two outside TPS wires? Sounds like what you're experiencing.
