can this work?wire harness question..
i have a 91 dx and i want to drop in a b16 can i use an si wire harness to do the swap, there much cheaper on ebay than going with the hasport harness..thanks guys
well i know mines not a b16 but i used an si harness, not the whole harness just parts of the harness, to do the mpfi swap for my b18a. actually looking back at it, i didnt even really need the si harness, the only thing i took off of it was plugs, like the dist plug, which u dont even need the plug, but the plug just makes it look nice. and idk if u were asking this but no cant just use the whole si engine harness because it doesnt match with the dx harness. and the mpfi swap wasnt that hard to do, just take your time and be accurate
I'm pretty sure you can't, there is a reason why. I think the plugs by the shock tower are different and it would be a big hassle to switch them around. But don't quote me on that for sure.

This is true. its also true what the other guy posted as well the only thing you use the Si harness for is the plugs, if your not going to change out all of the harnesses (chassis and engine) the easiest way is to just modify the DX harness which is much easier than swapping out the complete harnesses anyway. I am swapping out all of the harnesses in my DX but thast because mine was an auto DX so there were so many un-needed wires and I didnt want to mess with it all and since my car was going to be sitting for a bit anyway I opted to swap out the hranesses so then I wouldnt have to deal with any wire changes.
