Default Liquid Gasket = RTV?

Where the helms calls for liquid gasket, is it referring to reg'lar RTV sealant?

I am a dumbass, and neglected to apply anything of this sort to the cam seals (passenger side of the motor) and one is leaking. Drip drip drip... onto the water neck.. down to the headgasket... and being burned off onto the header. It smells wonderful but i'd like to resolve the problem before i start an engine fire and :burn: the whole car up
