Cam seal question. Aftermarket worth it?
Well the stock one will eventually wear out and start to leak, but it's cheap and easy to replace. I've never seen an aftermarket one wear out. I used to have an STR plug on my old car w/a few B16's and it never leaked. It's not a necessity, but if you have everything opened up, I'd pick one up, they're cheap.
Here are our 3 o-ring cam seals. They are nice because you will never have a leak from this area again. If you do alot of motor work where you remove and replace the cam caps, then this is a great piece to have. You will never have to replace it.

waste of money. plus you can't see it away. stick with your stock one. you can reuse it. provide that you remove and clean it carefully. then use good rtv sealer " prefer black rtv".
Heres a compromise.
You can get an ITR cam seal thats plastic and has one o-ring costs a little more than a normal b16 cam seal but much less than a str or aebs.
