I remember someone on here a while back was talking about the possibility of putting together a video documentary of swapping motors etc and selling em on here..my buddy is new with the whole hybrid thing and I was wondering if those videos ever made production?

 

That would be cool. That one show on TNN did a GSR swap into an Eg which was pretty helpful.

Still nothing compares with posting your problems and getting questions on how to solve them

I did my swap. Took longer than I would of liked. But, it's running strong with NO cel!

dude its so easy its not funny. had the engine out in one day and b16a in crx in less then a week

 

gimme six hours and some energy pills. done.

 

yep if you had an entire day to just work on your car you could get it done...

 

The trick is planning, make sure you have absolutly everything you need before starting.

 

like he said ^ if you have EVERYTHING its just one day of labor, not that hard. Its when you run into all kinds of little things that you dont have that it starts being a pain. Im in the middle of a GSR swap right now... and so far ive had a busted TPS and AIC sensors, missing alternator pully (?!?!?) and missing shift linkadge bushing (?!?!?!). because of all of it its taking like 2 weeks cause we have to wait for the parts to ship, while if they were all here to begin with it would have been done in one or two days.
