anyone ever seen this? 2.3L vtec engine in the accord wagon model...

There is a silver 4th gen here in Austin with that motor, its pretty cool.

 

I doubt it really adds much in power compared to the 2.2 h22, but would be an interesting motor to tinker with.

 

Same HP as JDM H22 (200ps) with a tad more tq. Also has a lower redline and only came with an auto.

lower redline? Have proof of that? It still makes peak power at 6800 rpms...

It's supposed to be called the "big vtec." I thought it had 220?

Could be wrong... I don't keep up with stock motors as much as I used to.

 

I'm positive that the redline is lower Satan.

It is the one out of the Accord Wagon SiR or whatever. I got the info on the redline and hp right off of Hondas site.

 

Since you guys will probably say I'm full of ****...I'll show you this....Its in another language but you can obviously see what its saying....

another language... also another scale. They probably are going by nt. in stead of ft. lb. on tq.

Also, I thought the hp was 220 or so. So maybe it's 220 hp with 1xx ft tq??
