Default gauge clusters

sorry, this is kind of a stupid question, but i was thinking about changine out the gauge clusters on my ls with an type r cluster. my question is would the gauges still be accurate? does the tach match engine speed? or would i have to figure out where my redline is?

really?...how does the computer differentiate the different clusters?

it must be magic.. i swapped from mph to km/h... and it works accurately.. ooh the wonders of honda... if u get a jdm R cluster.. u need a 97 or older cluster.. i have a 98 teg.. i needed a 98+ cluster..

i wouldn't bother with it until you have a high readline...not much of a diff to me cept that you get a 9k limit and the gauge goes to 10k
