sorry to double post i clicked the back button to put 56k warning and resubmitted my bad

 

IMO you should have prepped the car better..like take off the moldings and paint them seperate so you could get behind the molding...mirrors off...side skirts off... door handles off..and when you have the paper all folded up it traps dust and then when your spraying the air blows all that **** out into the paint...whats up with your quarter panel in that pic above? you should have taken off the wheels too man...their bronze and you gonna have overspray all over the place..good luck

maybe its his first time and wanted to save some money and do it himself. give him a break

 

I do think that is a nice job, i give you props man and keep us with your updated pics.

 

his door seals are also white now...

but again, hes doin it diy...

i would have taken the modlings and mirrors, doors, and hatch off, and painted those seperate as well.

 

thanks for the advice and the compliments....the wheels are sealed up really good...and this is my first time...i didnt wanna take off moldings..mirrors..etc..i was deciding between a macco job or diy.....so i just want the exterior to look decent.. inside of oxidationa nd rust.. the little errors you see are where i sanded the little runs so i can respray it ......wish me luck hopefully the car wil be done and i can wetsand as little as possible and buff..and polish

do some research next time... pull anything off that you can, and paint it separate...
thats just being lazy right there

 

Looks good,my friend does his own paint jobs and they came out pretty nice.You get what you paid for though.
